Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is all about planning an achievable routine. We all know the basics of good health include a varied , balanced and healthy diet, adequate water intake, sound sleep, daily outdoor exercise and time for relaxation.

The problem is achieving this balance on a regular basis to fit around work, daily commitments and stressful situations.

The answer lies in organising your day to ensure sufficient rest for an early start to the day, so allowing time for early exercise, a healthy breakfast, an adequate lunch break and enough space at the end of the day for relaxation.

Sufficient exercise of your personal choice needs to be taken every day, however difficult that may be.

Three balanced meals need to be taken at regular times daily and this may require considerable thought and forward planning if your working day is non stop.

It may help to consult a specialist in lifestyle management if stress is overtaking your life. Eventually, if ignored your energy levels and immune system may suffer.
