Kathryn originally worked in the arts in New York (film and jewellery making) then in the construction industry. She worked for five years as a Teamster site foreman on construction sites at Battery Park City. This experience led to two seasons as a production manager with the humanist circus Cirque du Soleil in New York, before she came to the UK in the early 1990s.

Kathryn has worked as a therapist for 15 years and is a member of the International Guild of Professional Practitioners. She uses body work, healing, meditation and spiritual counselling to empower those she works with. She has worked at a wide range of clinics, including Women & Health in Camden Town, The Hale Clinic at Regent's Park, Urban Bliss clinic in Portobello, London Lighthouse in Ladbroke Grove and the Health Schools Scheme around North London.

Kathryn has also trained as a Seed coach, the network set up by public relations legend Lynn Franks to support entrepreneurial women.

In 2003 she was ordained as an Interfaith Minister and Spiritual Counsellor.

Kathryn has made various television appearances appearing on Good Morning With Richard And Judy Madeley (ITV), faith dialogue show Nexus (internet TV station Press) and reality show Chained (E4). She has been featured in related articles. In June 2006, Kathryn was chosen to meet the Queen on her 80th birthday tour when she visited Pepperpot day centre in Portobello, west London.
